Khami Ruins is located west of Bulawayo in Zimbabwe and consists of an extensive complex of terraced stone platforms built within a historical landscape shaped by the Torwa State. Visitors can walk through the site, explore the layered stone terraces, follow pathways between structures, observe the distinctive decorative wall patterns, and learn more about the area at the small on-site museum. The ruins are notable for their dry-stone construction using locally quarried granite without mortar, serving as symbols of status and power rather than defence, and for their significance as a former regional centre of influence and trade.
