Spreetshoogte Pass located, in central Namibia is a dramatic mountain pass linking the Namib Desert with the Khomas Highland. Visitors can drive or stop at viewpoints to admire sweeping vistas across the Great Escarpment. Notably, it is the steepest pass in Namibia, built by farmer Nicolaas Spreeth during World War II, and descends nearly 1,000 metres within just 4 kilometres.
