This reserve is the natural habitat of many interesting animals such as wild members of the camel family as well as migratory and sedentary birds.

It has a beautiful variety of volcanoes, dams, lakes and rivers. One can observe flamingos at Salinas Lake or even spot a fox or two along the way.
