The Palms, Zanzibar
The Palms is an exclusive adults-only boutique retreat, ideally located on the powdery white sands of Bwejuu Beach along Zanzibar’s tranquil southeast coast. This intimate, all-inclusive and award-winning property offers just seven beautifully appointed villas, each with a private plunge pool for complete privacy and relaxation.
Each spacious villa features two en-suite bedrooms with bathtubs and separate walk-in showers, along with a comfortable living area, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, TV, Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout.
Guests can enjoy a refined restaurant, two bars and a serene infinity swimming pool, while every villa also benefits from its own private ocean-front beach cabana.
The Palms welcomes guests aged 16 and above, unless the property is reserved in its entirety for exclusive use.

The Palms has seven villas, each over 140 square meters with a bedroom, living room, full en suite bathroom, dressing room, extra room with its own en suite bathroom & large furnished terrace with views of the Indian Ocean.
Each villa features a sophisticated interior composition in all colors of coffee and cream where filmy caramel colored curtains billow, dark grained polished floors extend and the decor is a unique marriage of colonial grandeur and traditional design. On the veranda, a silk-draped four-poster Zanzibar Bed accents a sunken, midnight blue plunge pool with long views of the Indian Ocean.

At The Palms, our culinary team has devised a menu that reflects the magical mélange of Arabic, Indian, Persian, Asian and Swahili flavours that epitomize traditional Zanzibari cuisine. We also showcase the best of the island’s locally grown produce and, because our menu changes every day, we’re able to portray every facet of the Spice Isle’s ancient heritage. The extensive menu also features our Chef’s presentation of a range of continental dishes and, of course, our team will also be delighted to incorporate any dietary preferences you may express.
