Jade Emperor Pagoda is one of the five notable shrines in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City. The temple was built at the start of the 20th century by a group of Chinese immigrants.

The walls of the main hall are decorated with intricate carvings, illustrating the life of doom awaiting sinners. Another hall houses several sculptures depicting fertility.

The temple is visited daily by worshippers who come to offer prayers for good fortune, children and love. The temple is also famous for its tortoise pond, which is very often overcrowded. Worshippers can be seen feeding the tortoises as part of their rituals.
