Chimi Lhakhang is a Buddhist monastery in the Punakha District of Bhutan, associated with the Drukpa Kagyu tradition. It was founded in 1499 by the lama Ngawang Chogyal, the fourteenth abbot of Ralung Monastery. The site was earlier blessed by his cousin, Drukpa Kunley, who built a chorten there. The temple name derives from a legend involving a subdued demon appearing as a dog. It is known as Chime Lhakhang and functions as a temple.
