As one of the oldest functioning churches in the world, the Glasgow Cathedral is also known as the High Kirk of Glasgow, St Kentigern's, and St Mungo's Cathedral. Historically, the cathedral is said to be located where the Saint Mungo church had been built.

In addition to the regular church services, visitors can take in the historic architecture on a guided tour. The property features a gift shop selling souvenirs, books, and memorabilia. The Glasgow Cathedral is open to the public on Mondays through Saturdays with times depending on the season, as well as on Sundays after church services.
