Kyichu Lhakhang, located in Paro, Bhutan, is one of the country’s oldest and most sacred temples. Visitors can explore its serene courtyards, admire ancient murals, and participate in Buddhist rituals. Notably, the temple was built in the 7th century by Tibetan Emperor Songtsen Gampo and is believed to be one of 108 temples constructed to subdue a demoness. It is also famous for its two orange trees that miraculously bear fruit year-round, and for being visited by Padmasambhava, who concealed spiritual treasures there.
