The next few days are more safari-focused as you venture to the amazing Babs’ Camp which is a 20 metre high tower with en-suite bedrooms and restaurant in the sky! The best time of day to safari is early morning and evening when it’s cooler for more chance for wildlife to be visible. What is great about the Babs’ Camp area is that it is on the edge of salt flats which are quite open allowing for better viewings for wildlife. There are a few lion prides who like this area and it is a favourite passing place for elephants in the early evening. Sit in the crow’s nest with a G&T watching the elephant silhouettes moving across the salt flats with the distant ocean in the background. Beautiful.
