Straddling the boundary between Brazil and Argentina, Iguazu National Park is best known for the spectacular Iguazu Falls, which are higher, wider and arguably more impressive than the famed Niagara Falls. But the park’s charms do not end at this breathtaking body of water – it is also exceptional for its high biodiversity, with over 2000 plant species, 450 avian species and 80 mammal species, including several varieties of graceful and elusive wild cats.
