The only mainland Eco-Certified resort in the Southern Great Barrier Reef located a block back from the beach on 5.5 acres of gardens in Bargara, Queensland. The neighbouring nature reserve shelters guests offering a peaceful and relaxing experience as well as an opportunity to see wildlife in its natural habitat. With shady pathways and lawn areas, the young and old will appreciate the spaciousness and privacy the resort offers.
The 2 bedroom self-contained and standalone eco-villas are spacious with sleeping for 1 to 5 guests. They’re just like little homes with full kitchen, spacious living, separate bathroom and toilet, air- conditioning, flat screen television, ironing facilities, hair dryer, plus their own private verandas and under cover parking.
Resort facilities include pools (heated in winter), spa, sauna, tennis court, games room, BBQ areas, restaurant, function and conference facilities, kiosk and tours desk. Only a 5 minute drive from the township of Bargara and a 10 minute drive to Mon Repos Turtle Rookery.
Our Eco Villas are 55m2, 2 Bedroom Self Contained Units and are suited to single
travellers, couples or smaller families.
All Eco Villas offer open plan ground floor living with split air-conditioning and ceiling fan with a kitchen containing a cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, kettle, pots, plates, cutlery, serving and storing utensils with bench dining, a spacious lounge with cable TV, DVD/CD player and separate bathroom with step-in bath/shower facilities and toilet.
They can sleep up to 5 with the Master Bedroom on the ground floor with the option of a Queen-bed, King-bed or 2 Singles and the Loft Bedroom with sleeping for up to 4 with 1 Queen-bed and 2 singles or 3- 4 singles on the mezzanine level upstairs. Plus private veranda with great resort views and under cover parking.
Our Large Eco Villas are 62m2, 2 Bedroom Self Contained Units and are suited to
families or those travellers who prefer more space.

They can sleep up to 6 (7 more immediate family – Mum, dad and Kids) with the Master Bedroom on the ground floor with the option of a Queen-bed,King-bed or 2 Singles, the Loft Bedroom with sleeping for up to 4 with 1 Queen-bed and 2 singles or 3- 4 singles on the mezzanine level upstairs and a set of bunks adjacent to the dining area. Plus private veranda with great resort views and under cover parking.

Bargara, Bundaberg is home to the Largest Logger Head Turtle Rookery in the Southern Hemisphere. Every year hundreds of turtles make their way to Mon Repos Beach to lay their clutches of eggs. After a 6-8 week incubation period the little guys make their way from the sand dunes to the big blue. Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services offer Ranger Guided Tours from November to March for the opportunity to get up close and personal with these magnificent sea creatures.
