Simien Lodge is located at the beginning of the escarpment in Ughif, Ethiopia, approximately 22 kilometres from Debark, near the Simien Mountain National Park. Accommodation options consist of 26 rooms with private bathrooms, sheltered balconies, cosy bedding, tea/coffeemakers, and underfloor heating. Guests can enjoy mouthwatering meals and relax with drinks at the on-site restaurant and bar. Area activities include trekking, mountain biking, horse trekking, and nature walks.
There are 26 main rooms.
A main room is normally a twin bedded room although there are a couple with queen size beds. They naturally have on suite bathrooms.
All rooms have wall saves. There are shelves and hangars for clothes. On the writing desk is a kettle with tea and coffee facility.
The family rooms have a master bedroom and a lounge with two beds. There is a bathroom that is accessed from the master bedroom.
Comfortable chairs and settee are also available in the lounge.
Bedding is duvet style but extra blankets are provided on the shelves.
