Turmi Lodge is named after one of the cultural destinations found in southern Ethiopia called Turmi. Turmi is a spectacular locality surrounded by small villages inhabited by the tribe called Hammar. It is a market place where every Monday and Tuesday tribesmen and women of all ages gather under the open blue sky to sale and buy. The lodge is therefore situated where an age long living culture, different hair styles and body paintings are staged live for visitors to touch and feel its authenticity. It is a place where you can enjoy every minute of your stay.

The location is so advantageous that they are found on the main road to most of cultural destinations in the southern Ethiopia. It is also a staging ground for clients to reach more than ten different tribes with in a short radius. Turmi Lodge is located on an area of 15.5 hectars. It is also on the main road to the village and adjacent to the airport . There are 24 comfortable rooms each furnished with twin beds and locally made crafts. Rooms are facing the vast wilderness that gives the visitors an advantage of being close to nature .It is well designed and built with a traditional touch.
