The Karen Blixen Museum in Nairobi is the former home of the famous Danish author of Out of Africa. Set at the foot of the Ngong Hills, the museum offers a glimpse into her life and Kenya’s colonial history, featuring original furnishings and artifacts. The Karen Blixen Museum is open to the public every day, with guided tours on offer. The museum shop features handicrafts, posters, postcards, the movie ‘Out of Africa’, as well as books and other Kenyan souvenirs.
