The Saint Lawrence River is a large river in North America, flowing in an approximate north easterly direction. The river connects the Great Lakes with the Atlantic Ocean, forming the primary drainage outflow of the Great Lakes Basin. The river is also part of the international boundary between Ontario, Canada and the American state of New York.
