The three star Relais des Plateaux hotel is ideal for those overnight stays in Tana when you are either arriving late or leaving early the following morning. It lies only ten minutes drive from the airport in a wooded area of parkland. A complimentary shuttle bus takes you to and from the airport.

Given its semi-rural location, there is a good sense of space at the hotel.  Jacarandas, avocado trees, palm trees and bougainvilleas make for a tranquil and attractive environment.  The 19 spacious rooms are light and airy, simply furnished with tiled floors. They are well-appointed with flat screen TV, telephone, minibar, safe, air-conditioning, sitting area and en suite bathroom with shower and twin basins. The restaurant has a good reputation for delicious traditional specialities as well as exquisite Zebu meat dishes. Other facilities include a good-size heated pool with sun-loungers and poolside dining.  There’s also a small kids playground. The hotel is happy to assist with city tours and excursions.
