The Harzer Schmalspurbahnen locomotives are a collection of 25 locomotives that offer a scenic old-school experience through the magnificent Harz Mountains. Ten locomotives at a time travel through a 140.4-kilometre route network with a gauge of 1,000mm and stop at multiple train stations and unmissable highlights, including the World Heritage town of Quedlinburg, the Thuringian town of Nordhausen, the half-timbered town of Wernigerode and even the Brocken train station at an altitude of 1125 metres.
