Alice Springs Desert Park is an environmental education facility where visitors can enjoy desert walks, experience the animals of the night, and learn more about the diversity of desert plants and ancient living cultures.

There are three walk-through desert habitat areas, a Nocturnal House, and a Nature theatre. All facilities and exhibits are wheelchair accessible and the park has electric scooters for those who are less mobile.

The park also offers a café, a gift shop, toilets with disabled access, baby change facilities, drinking water fountains throughout the park, and a free picnic- and barbeque area.
