The town of Mae Sai, in the Chiang Rai, is Thailand's northernmost town. The town has the Ruak River river flowing through it and during the wet season, it floods two or three times. Mae Sai can be easily explored by foot as it is a small town. Guests can visit the markets that are situated all around the town's center, which offers a range of clothing and electronic goods.
