Santuario de la Naturaleza Capilla de Mármol is a protected geological site located on the western shore of Lake General Carrera in the Aysén Region of southern Chile. It comprises marble formations shaped over time by the continuous erosion of lake waters, creating caves, tunnels and isolated rock structures. These formations are composed mainly of calcium carbonate and display varied colours influenced by mineral content and light reflection. Visitors typically reach the site by boat to observe the formations and navigate along the shoreline, with activities including sport fishing and photography.
