The Australian sea lions in Seal Bay are not domesticated. There are no cages or enclosures in this wild colony and no expectations are placed on the animals – their location and behaviour changes from day to day.
A visit to Seal Bay provides the opportunity to immerse oneself in the beautiful surrounds of this colony with its white sands, blue skies, and unspoiled vistas, as well as presenting the opportunity to learn about the endangered sea lions from the experienced guides at a safe distance.
This is a true nature adventure brimming with the unexpected, and it is possible that one is lucky enough to be within 10 metres of the sea lions.
