Lathami Conservation Park is a protected area on the north coast of Kangaroo Island in South Australia, near Stokes Bay. Visitors can explore lower areas where open forests of sugar gum and South Australian blue gum occur, alongside native vegetation shaped by the island’s landscape. Lower reaches also include drooping sheoak stands that provide important feeding habitat for the glossy black cockatoo. The park was established to conserve this endangered species, and much of its habitat was affected by the 2020 bushfires, with recovery efforts supporting regeneration.
