Early morning, take a 45-minute drive to the magnificent “Cruz del Condor” view point. See the Colca Canyon, twice as deep as the Grand Canyon, which forms part of a tremendous volcanic mountain range more than 100km (62 miles) long. Marvel at seeing the majestic, giant condors with massive wingspans soaring overhead along the river. Visit the quaint towns to admire the perfectly preserved colonial churches, artisan stalls and must stop lookout points before arriving to Chivay for an early lunch. Right after, embark on a journey along the amazing Andean Highlands. Appreciate the rustic sceneries of this region and view some stone forest-like rock formations along the paved highway. Pass through rustic small towns reaching the highest point at 4,538 meters above sea level (14,888 ft), and continue through the picturesque territory of Lagunillas with its impressive natural lagoon and other traditional villages before arriving to Lake Titicaca.
Please allow approximately eleven hours for the entire experience (ten hours if you don't stay at Titilaka)
