The singular and qualifying spectacular national park in Slovenia, Triglav National Park, is situated in the northwestern part of the country. Spreading over 840 square kilometres, this enormous park is characterised by dramatic mountains, forest-fringed lakes and rivers, enthralling ravines, and gorgeous fields. A diversity of wonderful and well-marked hiking trails are on offer, known for their challenging nature in winter, with Mount Triglav providing the highlight.
