Tonle Sap lake is located in the Lower Mekong Basin of Cambodia.

The lake is a seasonally inundated freshwater lake which flows into the 120 km long Tonle Sap River which connects the lake to the Mekong River.

The lake is 100 km wide at its longest point and 10 meters deep.
