About Wat Phnom

The Buddhist temple of Wat Phnom is located in the town of Phnom Penh in Cambodia. The temple is set on a hill and houses four bronze sculptures of Buddha.

The temple is famous in Cambodia because of the background history of the fabled founder named Lady Penh.

The temple can be accessed through a flight of stairs. Devotees come to the temple with flowers and incense to offers prayers to the deities. Visitors can look excellent photo opportunities.
