War Remnants Museum is one of Saigon’s most important and confronting museums, offering a powerful look at Vietnam’s modern history through the human experience of war. It is not a light visit, but for many travellers it is one of the most memorable and worthwhile places to see in the city.
Inside, the museum presents photographs, personal stories, military equipment and wartime artefacts that help explain the impact of conflict on ordinary Vietnamese people.
