Bahía Sullivan, located on the eastern coast of Santiago Island in the Galápagos, is renowned for its striking volcanic landscape. Visitors can hike across solidified lava fields and snorkel in nearby waters, experiencing both geology and marine life. Notably, the bay’s terrain was formed by eruptions only 150 years ago, creating a dramatic lunar landscape, where pioneering plants like Mollugo now begin to colonise the barren rock.
