Pedra Furada in Jalapão, Tocantins, Brazil, is a striking sandstone formation with a natural arch that has become one of the region’s most iconic landmarks. Visitors can hike gentle trails, capture dramatic photographs at sunrise or sunset, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding savannah. Notably, the formation stands about 20 metres high, shaped over millions of years by erosion, and is best visited during the dry season July to September when access is easier and the scenery is especially vivid.
