Camdeboo National Park is a captivating conservation area in South Africa’s Eastern Cape, encircling the historic town of Graaff‑Reinet. Established in 2005 and spanning approximately 194 km², the park lies on the southern foothills of the Sneeuberg Mountains, rising between 740 and 1,480 metres above sea level. s most iconic feature, the Valley of Desolation, showcases dramatic dolerite cliffs soaring up to 120 metres above the Karoo plains.
