Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan is a royal monastery located within the city walls of Chiang Mai. Built in the 17th century by Phaya Pha Yu, the Buddhist temple houses several Buddha related statues. Some of the important statues include Buddha Sihing an ancient holy image, a statue of Lord Thongthip, Phra Si Sanphet image, the reclining Buddha image, Kruba Srivichai monument and much more. Some important places within the Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan include Lai Kham Temple, Phra Luang Temple, Phra Tripitaka Tower, and The Hall of Krom Krom Kru Srivichai.
