In Ruaha, Charlie is about exploring really cool remote locations in prime walking and big game country. The camp is lightweight allowing you to move locations within the area over a few days.
It offers an exclusive and authentic journey into some of Tanzania’s most unspoiled wilderness areas. The camp’s light-touch philosophy ensures a minimal environmental footprint, allowing guests to immerse themselves in nature’s rhythms—walking in the cool of the day, dining under the stars, and waking to the raw sounds of the wild.
Traditional A-Frame tents
The camp has four A-Frame tents with cot beds and cotton linen. When the night-sky is clear and bright, whip away the fly-sheet and enjoy a night under the stars.

Walking safaris
Wake with the dawn, walk in the cool of the day, rest in the heat and simply soak up being in a truly wild environment. Expect to walk between 3-6 hours a day, always based on individual fitness.
Camp will move 1-2 times during a 3-night itinerary and this will be discussed with the camp crew.
