The Museo Nacional de Colombia in Bogota is the national museum of Colombia dedicated to preserving its history and national heritage. The museum is home to 17 permanent exhibition halls with a collection of 2500 works and objects centred around history, art, and culture. The temporary exhibitions include samples of national and international history, archaeology and art. A variety of academic and cultured programmes such as audiovisual projections, dance presentations, theatre, and concerts are presented throughout the year.
