The view from this consistently highly rated restaurant is unrivalled anywhere in the world. Where else could you watch the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean clash while enjoying Patagonia Calamari, Smoked Lamb Shank or Ostrich Carpaccio?
Set into the cliffs high above the south-western most tip of the Cape Peninsular in the Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park, the restaurant’s unique design and spectacular view over False Bay gives the impression that guests are relaxing in on the deck of a luxury ocean liner! The restaurant’s innovative design means that the 300 guests to which the restaurant can comfortably cater, each have an unimpeded view of the vast oceans below them.
While fresh seafood is their specialty, especially their world famous Two Oceans Restaurant Seafood Platter, vegetarians, meat & salad lovers, and children will all be delighted with the varied and meticulously prepared meals which they can enjoy with some of the Western Cape’s most magnificent wines. Two Oceans Restaurant is one of the most stylish, light, airy, sophisticated and yet relaxed restaurants in the Cape. After a sumptuous breakfast or lunch, a delicious pudding such as a toasted fig marshmallow, dark chocolate, walnut honey cookie with goats cheese ice cream, and a browse in the curio shop, the Flying Dutchman funicular can whisk guests up to the lighthouse. Or perhaps if they prefer, guests can wander down to explore one of the many beautiful and protected beaches in the reserve.
Either way, the Two Oceans Restaurant will be remembered as one of the highlights of any Cape Town experience.
