Located in the rugged Valley of the Ten Peaks, Moraine Lake is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls and rock piles. This glacier-fed lake features waters which are a vivid shade of turquoise and change in intensity through the summer as the glaciers melt. Visitors to the lake can sit lakeside and absorb the sights and pure mountain air or explore further by canoeing or hiking the numerous trails surrounding the lake. Water levels and the vibrant blue-green colours are at their peak in late June.
