Tsutenkaku is a tower located in Osaka’s Shinsekai district. Originally built in 1912, it was inspired by both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. The current structure, completed in 1956, features an eight-sided design. A statue of Billiken, a charm figure associated with good fortune, is enshrined on the observation deck. The tower is known for its LED lighting and weather beacon, and has long been associated with Hitachi advertisements.
