Nata Lodge, surrounded by trees in which a variety of birds find their home, is an oasis on the edge of the great salt pans of Botswana. The lodge is located near the entrance to the Nata Bird Sanctuary, just 10 km outside of Nata. This area is home to numerous salt pans and vast grasslands dotted with palm islands. The Nata River forms a delta that feeds the sanctuary's Sua Pan. Countless water birds such as flamingos and pelicans breed here. Due to a water feature as well as bird feeding station, there will be always birds and their tricks to watch. Species found at Nata Lodge include Paradise Wydah, Crested Francolin, Meyers Parrot, etc. At night, the nocturnal birds in particular also provide entertainment.
