Op slechts 15km van de ingang van Addo Elephant National Park, ligt het exclusieve Camp Figtree. Gasten bereiken de lodge na een spectaculaire rit door de Zuurberg Mountains.
De lodge ademt een onvervalste Out-of-Africa sfeer en is ontworpen rondom het oorspronkelijke huis uit 1920.
Camp Figtree biedt verschillende stijlvolle kamertypes die met oog voor luxe zijn ingericht. De luxe safaritenten met ensuite badkamer hebben een balkon met geweldig uitzicht over de vallei. De twee poolside suites delen een privézwembad en fungeren tevens als familie suite. De ruime Luxe Suites en de Boardwalk Suites zijn gebouwd op palen en hebben een balkon dat helemaal rondom loopt.
Ontbijt is inbegrepen en heerlijke lunches en diners kunnen ter plaatse bijgeboekt worden.
Het ontbijt met heerlijke muffins, versgebakken brood, fruitsalade en warme gerechten wordt geserveerd in het restaurant of op de veranda met prachtig uitzicht op de Zuurberg Mountains.
Diners bij Camp Figtree zijn in Zuid-Afrikaanse stijl met moderne invloeden. Er is een uitgebreide wijnkelder om de gerechten te complimenteren.
De lodge biedt halve- en hele dagsafari’s aan in Addo Elephant Park. Verder zijn er diverse activiteiten op Camp Figtree’s eigen reservaat.
Luxury Suite 6 has twin beds and stunning views.
Perched 4 meters above the mountain cliff, each suite has a main bedroom, a spacious private lounge, and a luxurious bathroom. Fold-back doors open onto the wraparound balcony, bringing the views right into the suite.
All suites are furnished with comfort in mind, including crisp percale linen, mosquito nets, and elegant furnishings. The bathroom comes with a bathrobe, slippers, and hairdryer.

Our Poolside Suites are stunning individual suites that can also be turned into a Family Suite with it’s interleading door. Each private suite hosts a main suite with en-suite bathroom, along with one smaller room which has a single bed within. These two suites have access to a shared private pool which overlooks the expanse and open lands of Addo.
Each suite exudes elegance and comfort, with the main bedroom featuring a luxurious king-size bed. The smaller room provides two cozy single beds for added convenience, with both areas sharing a large bathroom. Our two Poolside Suites are interleading, which when booked together can accommodate up to four adults and four children with ease (two adults and two children each). Step outside and immerse yourself in the splendour of a shared private pool and an oasis of tranquility.
Superior Suite 2 offers twin beds & stunning views
Each of these suites is uniquely decorated, featuring earthy colours and natural textures accented by richly-hued antiques, Persian carpets, polished wooden furnishings and objects d’art.
Both our Superior Suites have plush four-poster or twin beds and en-suite bathrooms. Private verandahs adorn the suites and have beautiful views onto the lodge gardens, the Addo Elephant National Park in the distance and the expansive mountains beyond.

Superior Suite 4 offers King Size bed & stunning views
Our Superior Boardwalks Suites are built 4 meters above the mountain cliff.
Each suite has its own private balcony which offers unsurpassed views of the Zuurberg Mountain Range. These Suites are decorated with a turn of the Century Colonial feel and each suite has a plush four-poster or twin beds.

Each privately built over the mountain edge, they provide guests with the most spectacular and unrivaled views. Each of the tents have a main suite with en-suite bathroom, free standing bath and private shower and toilet. A private balcony provides the guest with panoramic views of the mountains. Ideal for honeymooners or couples looking for maximum relaxation and privacy.

Half Day Game Drives
Departs twice daily at 8:00am and 2pm from reception.
Duration: +- 3 hours, excluding travel time from Camp Figtree to main gate
Please ensure you are at the lodge by 1pm latest to join the afternoon game drive
Full Day Game Drives
Departs Camp Figtree at 8:00am and return approx. 6pm.

This is a shared drive with other Camp Figtree guests. Minimum 2 guests per game drive, maximum 10 guests
No children under the age of six permitted on our game drives, babysitting service is available upon request.

Mountain E-bike rides
Head off on and adventure with a guide. Different routes ranging from beginner to advanced.

Bush walk
On the property of Camp Figtree with a guide. The focus here is on the environment, fauna & flora, smaller insects and birds. Walks depart on request and availability of ranger.
