Spirit of the Masai Mara is located within the private 35,000 acre Siana Conservancy in its own secluded valley overlooking the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, home of the annual Great Wildebeest Migration. This location offers fantastic game viewing opportunities in the Siana Conservancy and our private waterhole allow our guests to view the stunning variety of African wildlife from the comfort of their luxury suites.
The lodge consists of 10 solidly built air-conditioned suites, uniquely blending a modern design and traditional building materials. Each suite comprises of a large lounge with a private bar, spacious bedroom and beautiful bathroom with tub and shower. Guests can enjoy the stunning vistas from the privacy of their own verandah overlooking the Conservancy.
There are also a variety of wonderful activities to enjoy, such as day & night game drives, sundowners, bush walks, Maasai community visits and relaxing by our infinity pool. A stay with us, offers the opportunity to immerse in the Maasai community, their legacy & traditional way of life. A visit will significantly contribute to the Spirit of the Masai Mara’s goal of sustainable tourism by protecting the fragile ecosystem for future generations to enjoy.

The Siana Conservancy offers fantastic game viewing opportunities with our professional Maasai Guides. Early morning and evening game drives in the Conservancy, whilst a full day in the National Reserve is definitely recommended, complete with picnic breakfast and lunch.
Night Game drives in the Siana Conservancy are a fantastic experience and offer clients an opportunity to spot the lesser seen animals of the ecosystem, including Aardvarks and Porcupines. Also at night you have the opportunity to spot the resident pride of lions in their prime.
Experience the spectacular African sunset with your favourite cocktail and specially prepared canapés around a log fire with a short night game drive back to the lodge for dinner.
For that wild experience, we organize Bush breakfast / lunch for a chance to enjoy your freshly prepared meal, al fresco, in the middle of the savannah, surrounded by wildlife.
We offer our guests the exciting adventure of a walking safari in the Siana Conservancy. Get closer to nature as you feel, smell, hear and touch wild Africa. Our specially trained Maasai guides will ensure your safety at all times while explaining to you the traditional medicinal uses of different shrubs and trees as well as the tracks and spoors of the animals in the Siana Conservancy. The smaller creatures such as dung beetles, chameleons and small gazelles are the true stars of our walking safaris. You will have time to appreciate the intricacies of this diverse eco system that is a fundamental part of the Masai Mara.
