VUUR restaurant is ideally located in the breathtaking Cape Winelands on Remhoogte Wine Estate, Stellenbosch. The now converted old stable, situated in a wildlife camp on the wine estate, plays host to a small intimate show-cooking restaurant. South Africa has a long history of cooking with fire and VUUR showcases these techniques in a 5-course menu that is paired with wine from Remhoogte Wine Estate. Diners are treated to a taste bud extravaganza with the use of vegetables, local meats, fish and seafood on an ever-changing seasonal pairing menu. Each menu consists of 2 starters, 2 main dishes and a dessert and each is paired with a glass of fine wine. There is also a Heritage Menu option which includes improved menu options and vintage wines.
