Royal Palace of Madrid is located in the heart of Madrid, Spain, and is the official residence for the Royal family, although used only for state ceremonies. Construction of the palace started in 1738 and finished in 1755. The interior of the palace features artworks from famous painters such as Francisco de Goya, Caravaggio and Juan de Flandes, to name a few. Historical artefacts include porcelain, furniture, silverware and a complete Stradivarius string quintet.
