Peyto Lake is situated in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada and is approximately 40km north of Lake Louise. The park features short hikes leading to picturesque views of the bright turquoise water, that is created by the significant amounts of glacial rock flour that flows into the lake. There are a number of attractions and activities available to guests in the surrounding area including the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, Lake Minnewanka, Banff Legacy Trail and Upper Hot Springs Pool.
