Sulphur Mountain is located in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. It has beautiful, snow-capped peaks and is part of the Canadian Rockies. It was named in 1916 for the two hot springs discovered at its base.

Visitors can take a ride up on the fully accessible Banff Gondola, climbing 2,281 metres to the mountain summit. This all-new experience is designed for those in search of luxury and those less inclined to brave the elements. Atop Sulphur Mountain, one will find a 360-degree ridgetop boardwalk above the town of Banff. Here visitors can also enjoy views from the Sky Bistro, as well as interactive exhibits.

For intrepid adventurers, Sulphur Mountain's trail is a moderate hike with switchbacks to the summit ridge. It offers incredible views of Bow Valley and local wildlife such as bighorn sheep, Golden-mantled ground squirrels, and hoary marmots.
