The Cape Town Cycle Tour is the largest timed cycle race in the world, attracting some 40 000 participants from around the globe. This 109km bike race is held in March every year and circles the Cape Peninsula, starting and finishing in the shadow of Table Mountain, one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
While it is not possible to do the exact route on a regular day (certain sections take place on freeways which do not normally permit cyclists), those keen cyclists who would like to experience a taste of the world's most beautiful cycle tour can do just this! We have broken the tour down into different sections and routes over three days of cycling. We will start each day early in the morning - the best time in Cape Town for cycling, and will be back by lunch time, allowing you the afternoon for some touristy stuff and sightseeing.
Whether you are travelling as an indivudual, a couple or a part of a group (up to a comfortable maximum of X people), you will be lead by a qualified cycling guide, with a back-up support vehicle, allowing you the freedom to fully enjoy and take in your surroundings with peace of mind.
