About Wild Frontiers
At Wild Frontiers we don’t just “sell” safaris, we live and breathe safaris; it’s our passion and we have been sharing our knowledge, experience and love of Africa since 1991. Established by John and Debbie Addison as a specialist tour operator offering safaris into East and Southern Africa, our aim is to take you to wild, beautiful places to DO, SEE and EXPERIENCE Africa.
Over the years we have expanded our operation into Tanzania and Uganda, where we operate as a full destination management company, employing 250 + staff. We run our own fleet of vehicles and our professional guides are widely recognised as some of the very best in the industry.
We offer a large range of incredible, often soul changing journeys, with something for everyone, whether you choose to join a scheduled small group departure or one of our private, tailor-made trips.
Wild Frontiers Uganda, based in Entebbe, has been operating safaris since 1996. With over 20 years of operation in Uganda, Wild Frontiers is one of Uganda’s longest established and premier safari companies, with its team of carefully chosen local specialists overseen by directors Paul and Jane Goldring, who are based in Uganda and oversea the day to day running of the business in a hands on manner.
Uganda offers numerous opportunities to experience the safari of a lifetime; primate viewing such as tracking wild Mountain Gorillas or Chimpanzees through the rain forests. Big game safaris on the savannah, amazing bird watching, fishing the river Nile at Murchison Falls National Park or Lake Victoria. Climbing to the snow in the Mountains of the Moon, rafting the Nile river at its wildest, or experiencing the breath-taking landscapes and warm, welcoming culture of Uganda; it is all possible with Wild Frontiers Uganda Safaris.
Our camps and lodges in Uganda include: Buhoma Lodge (Bwindi Impenetrable National Park), Ishasha Wilderness Camp (Queen Elizabeth National Park), Baker’s Lodge (Murchison Falls), Hotel No. 5(Entebbe) and our Platinum Mobile Camp. We also own a fleet of boats on the Nile River up at Murchison Falls, and Lake Victoria in Entebbe.
Our Tanzania operation is based in Arusha, and it’s not just safaris we book. From summiting Africa’s highest peak, Mt Kilimanjaro, to lazing on tropical beaches in Zanzibar, we know Tanzania best. Our intimate tented camps in Tanzania include: Serengeti Wilderness Camp, Serengeti North Wilderness Camp, Ndutu Wilderness Camp and our Explorer Mobile Safaris.
We are not only experts in East Africa, but can also assist with travel to: Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Zanzibar, Central African Rainforests and Zakouma National Park in Chad. Wild Frontiers are also the official organisers for both the annual Kilimanjaro and Victoria Falls marathons.
All Wild Frontiers’ operations are fully licensed and offer full public and passenger liability insurance. We are members of AUTO – Association of Uganda Tour Operators, TATO – Tanzanian Association of Tour Operators and ATTA –African Travel and Tourism Association.
