GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS – CUSTOM TOURING

RESERVATIONS: A Booking Form should be completed, signed and returned to Custom Touring. To secure your reservation a non-refundable deposit is payable. Full payment of the balance is due 60 days prior to departure.

ADDITIONAL FEES: May be levied for name change after final payment.

TOUR PRICE: Prices quoted are based on land costs, hotel prices, transport rates as at 03 May 2022. Custom Touring reserves the right to adjust prices subsequent to this date in accordance with airfare increases, tariff adjustments, Government Taxes, Sales Tax, VAT, third party services, or any other circumstances beyond our control.

The tour cost is based on a minimum of 14 passengers. A supplement may be charged for lower numbers.

METHOD OF PAYMENT: Bank transfer, PayPal – fees for your account; credit card at 3.5% extra for fees.

TOUR CANCELLATION & ALTERATION OF ITINERARY: In accordance with standard procedure of tour operators worldwide, we reserve the right to cancel the tour should there be insufficient numbers, in which event all payments received will be refunded without any further obligation on the part of Custom Touring. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellation. Whilst every effort will be made to keep to the published itinerary, we reserve the right to make changes to the programme and to substitute hotels of the same category, should unforeseen circumstances make this necessary. In the event of a tour having to be curtailed or extended, due to changes in transport schedules, any resultant expenses will be borne by the passenger and any saving refunded.

PASSENGER CANCELLATION & REFUNDS: All cancellations must be made in writing and will be subject to the following cancellation penalties:

From time of booking up to 60 days prior to departure, the deposit is forfeited.

Less than 60 days prior to departure, 100% of total tour price is forfeited.

NB!! These cancellation terms will not be waived for any Covid related cancellations.

INSURANCE: All tour participants are required to take out comprehensive travel insurance covering personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses, cancellation and curtailment, operator or airline default, loss of luggage and personal effects. Details of your Travel Insurance Policy may be required subsequent to booking.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: All passengers are personally responsible for ensuring they are in possession of the correct travel documents, visas or re-entry documents, where necessary. Final tour documentation and vouchers for land arrangements will be prepared only on receipt of full and final payment.

HEALTH REGULATIONS: Please check with your doctor or local travel clinic whether there are any specific health requirements for your destination. Covid-19 restrictions are subject to change  and will be communicated closer to departure date.

SMOKING: For escorted tours, smoking is not permitted on the coach, in restaurants, or anywhere the group will be dining together, including outdoors.

RESPONSIBILITY / INDEMNITY:

  • Baggage: Custom Touring will not be liable or responsible for any lost or damaged luggage or loss or damage to the contents of luggage.

  • Transport & arrangements: Custom Touring acts as an agent only in operating all tours and arrangements and shall not be liable for errors and omissions of suppliers, nor for loss or damage, injury, accident, delay, missed connections or any other irregularity due to any defect in any vehicle, or other form of conveyance or by error or default of any company or person engaged in conveying passengers, or carrying out any arrangements of the tour.

  • Activities: Custom Touring shall not be responsible or in any way be liable for injury, disability or death arising from participation in any of the activities on our tours.

  • Every effort is made to ensure itinerary accuracy; however Custom Touring cannot be held responsible for errors arising from unforeseen circumstances.
