There is one family room consisting of two inter-joined rooms with a shared bathroom. There are two separate access doors leading to the beach.
There are nine standard rooms which are made up of eight twin bedded rooms and one double bedded room.
We have added four new rooms at Chintheche Inn that are bright and airy and have elegant interiors featuring locally crafted decor and furnishings. These spacious rooms overlook the Lake and offer the ideal base for an adventurous getaway at the beach.
Directions to Chintheche Inn
...
- Make your way to the M1 heading to the International Airport.
- Proceed north looking for a building called Kapani Foods on your left, which is roughly 2 km before the turn off for Salima
- At Kapani Foods you cross a bridge and take the next turning (Salima turn off) to your right. Salima is roughly 90 kms away from here
- Proceed towards Salima (the road is good quality).
- Just before reaching Salima Town take the turn left towards Nkhotakota and Nkhata Bay.
- This turning is not sign posted but is opposite a Total Filling Station and there is usually a Police Barrier here
- Shortly after turning left you will cross a railway line.
- Continue straight all the way along this road which is mainly good tarmac but with some potholes and bumps around Nkhotakota.
- From Nkhotakota it is another 60 kms to Dwangwa and a further 90 kms from Dwangwa to Chintheche Inn.
- The Inn is well signposted off to the right of the road
