Buffalo Camp is a seasonal Camp based in the North Luangwa. The North Luangwa National Park is one of the last unspoilt true wilderness areas left in Africa. It is renowned for its enormous herds of buffalo, and its numerous other species of wildlife and birdlife. The camp is open from June to October. The remote location and rustic atmosphere of Buffalo Camp make this a real wilderness experience.
The camp consists of 6 en-suite chalets. The chalets are all overlooking the Mwalwshi River. There is a dining area and library with an outside sitting area and fireplace.
The area is predominantly for walking safaris with limited game and night drives. The walking safaris are 4 - 5 hours and are conducted by highly experienced Zambia Guides and an armed Zambia Wildlife Authority scout.
