The slightly elevated chalets of Chamilandu offer guests an intriguing view of the abundant wildlife which traverse the grounds of the camp. Stylish, elegant and comfortable, Chamilandu provides a unique vantage point for game viewing.
Accommodation at Chamilandu Bush Camp consists of three grass and thatch chalets with comfortable beds, mosquito nets and en-suite flush toilets and showers. The chalets are elegantly designed with a tasteful blend of modern classic decor and stunning views over the waters of the Luangwa River and Nchindeni Hills. The spectacular views from the camp of the series of seven ox-bow lagoons and their diverse habitats are unparalleled.
Chamilandu concentrates on walking safaris both from and between the camps, though game-drives (day and night) are also offered. The camp specialises in walking safaris in quiet areas on the south side of the park where guests can get up close and personal with nature.

Traditional décor adorns the 2-meter high tree house chalets (only 3 chalets in camp). The tasteful blend of wrought iron and brass offsets the thatch and wood that welcome you to recline and relax. Black mosquito netting allows guests to retain an uninterrupted view of the Luangwa River and Chindeni Hills at night under the moonlight and stars above. Open to a 180° vista, each tree house provides an exciting frame of the surrounding Luangwa Valley. The four-poster beds enjoy a bird’s eye view over the Luangwa River and the abundant wildlife that has made the valley famous. With the magnificent Chindeni Hills as the backdrop for your view, Chamilandu affords you the majesty of Africa in all its forms. Outdoor bathrooms adjoin each chalet with a large shower and double vanities under the open sky.
