Kiambi Lower Zambezi is based in the Chiawa Game Management area of the Lower Zambezi and offers a unique combination of Africa's culture, scenery and wildlife.
Guests may choose between spacious, comfortable luxury air-conditioned chalets or luxury thatched tented chalets, all with breath-taking views over the Zambezi River.
The central point of the lodge is the main dining, lounge and bar area which offer breathtaking views and the perfect place to relax, read, chat or simply soak up the magnificent scenery.
There are numerous activities offered at Kiambi Lower Zambezi, all conducted under the supervision of experienced, knowledgeable local guides.
Activities included are one sunset cruise and one half day canoeing trip per 3 nights stay.
Excluded activities (available at an additional cost) are game-viewing cruises by boat, canoeing, bird watching, tiger fishing, sunset boat cruises and game drives into the park … or simply relaxing around the pool or on your private veranda and absorbing the beauty and serenity of the Lower Zambezi.
Common animals sighted all year round from Kiambi Lower Zambezi are elephant, buffalo, hippo and crocodile. Further down the river within the Lower Zambezi National Park, lion and hyena are regularly sighted. Leopard and wild dog are not uncommon.

The three chalets offer tea and coffee making facilities, a fully stocked mini bar, a bath as well as a shower, DStv, and a lounge area inside the chalets. Each chalet has its own verandah with table and chairs. A small private garden and fire place.

All luxury thatched chalets come with a fully stocked bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, fans, an en-suite bathroom with hot showers and can accommodate 3 single beds comfortably or 4 at a squeeze.

Delightful six sleeper self catering cottage is located right on the banks of the Zambezi River. Thatched self catering cottage offers 2 twin bedrooms, a loft bedroom, a bathroom, a self contained kitchen, a lounge area, as well as a barbeque area.

Our cottage number two is fully air-conditioned sleeping up to 8 people in total. This cottage has two rooms sleeping 2 people in each as well as bunk beds in the living room area that can sleep an additional 4 people.
